Featured Image

The featured image at this time is The Ghost Nebula (SH2-136), located in Cepheus, some 1470 light years distant. This reflection nebula is a Bok globule, and is over 2 light years across.

 

I shot this image at SASP in 2024, and it is 140 x 60 seconds with the Hyperstar 8 V4 using the ASI533MC Pro camera. The image was stacked and processed in Pixinsight. I am very happy with the result.
