I purchased Pixinsight back in September to learn and use fully with my astroimaging projects. Since picking this up, I have spent a fair bit of time with it and I will reluctantly state that I have learned enough to get around with it.
I spent some time with Cuiv's video on YouTube, where he teaches you everything you need to know to get started in Pixinsight, and it helped me a lot. At least it got me pointed in the right direction.
I was able with practice to get to the point where I could process the image on thie top of this blog post, SH2-136, the Ghost Nebula, taken with my Hyperstar V4, 140 x 1 minute subs. This is a decent result. I would have liked about another 100 frames to stack.
My workflow is pretty simple.....I want to keep it simple as I learn and add new pieces. Simplicity is the essence of success. I am sharing it with you so that you can help me too.
