My New Astronomy Space

I've been busy creating a space to store my telescope gear, books, etc. I call it my astronomy den.

I wanted a space where I could escape to and relax and enjoy my hobby. A space to sit and update software, read a book, troubleshoot equipment, clean and disassemble gear, even remote image from.

What I did was convert an older porch gradually over some time. I painted it a few years back inside, added indoor/outdoor carpet, new windows as well as a new exterior door and screen door. Now it will stay warm in winter and so will my gear.

The red rope ligthing is a nice touch. It is actually LED Christmas lighting and works well.

Next thing I want to add is a TV that I can project images to, and then I can use this space for instructional purposes as well.
